Ancoats could see the addition of two towering skyscrapers, after plans for more than 750 flats were unveiled. The ambitious project, proposed by developers Liquid Funding Business (LFB), involves two towers reaching a combined height of 67 storeys, set to transform the current location of Stockton’s furniture store at the junction of Store Street and Great Ancoats Street.
The LFB proposal, which aligns with Manchester council’s regeneration goals for the area, includes 758 flats spread across the two buildings and offers 45,000 sq ft of commercial space. One tower is planned to be 47 storeys high, while the other will stand at 25 storeys.
