Leicestershire housebuilder Persimmon Homes has launched a new showhome at its new development in Fleckney.
The four-bedroom showhome property, called a Leicester, has welcomed prospective buyers to Appleyard Park development, off Fleckney Road.
290 new homes are being built, comprising a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, and bringing with it more than £3.1 million worth of investment to the area.
Nadine O’dowd, sales director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, said: “We are committed to building stylish new homes that not only address the needs of the homeownership market but also appeal to buyers keen to remain in the locality, and within easy reach of local amenities and transport links.
“The newly opened show home proved a real hit, with visitor numbers high.
“Our plans for the site aim to meet the needs of a wide range of purchasers, from first-time buyers to growing families looking for more space.”
As part of the new site, Persimmon is investing more than £3.1 million into the local area to help improve education, public transport and healthcare facilities.
An estimated £213,000 has been set aside to help improve community facilities, more than £68,000 towards highways contribution and a further £1.9million will go towards education in Fleckney.
Nadine added: “House hunters are now able to choose from an exclusive selection of houses to buy off-plan. It means purchasers can secure their preferred property and location within the development. In addition, reserving at this stage means customers can truly personalise their home by choosing from a range of ‘finishing touches’ – fixtures and fittings, such as kitchen units, appliances, waterfall showers, wall tiles and flooring options.
“Schemes to help people move into their new home are available, including the Government-backed Help to Buy, along with Persimmon’s Home Change and Part Exchange schemes.”
