A Derbyshire hotel, which is remaining open during the second national lockdown, is going the extra mile to ensure the safety of its guests, after investing in the latest microbial spray technology, which will offer up to 99.99% protection against Coronavirus.
The privately owned four-star Morley Hayes hotel in Morley is one of very few establishments locally to have taken delivery of the new heavy-duty fogging machine from Derby company PPE Products Direct. It comprises of a spray tank, which coats surfaces with a high-powered disinfectant to remove the presence of any germs, bacteria, and viruses in high-traffic areas.
Although the microbial continues to provide antimicrobial activity for up to seven days after application, the Morley Hayes housekeeping team will disinfect the whole room from floor to ceiling with microbial after the departure of every guest, ensuring it’s safe to re-enter and reducing the transfer of the virus.
Microbial is accredited by the NHS to clean to a clinical standard and is highly effective against dangerous pathogens including the Coronavirus.
This will be supplemented by the manual sanitisation of high-touch items and other contact points, such as remote controls, light switches, and door handles.
The introduction of these new operational measures will give guests the confidence and reassurance that they are protected to the highest levels against the virus.
Guests staying at the Morley Hayes hotel can also be assured of the best possible hotel experience.
Unlike other hotels, which are unable to serve meals, or are providing takeaway breakfasts, Morley Hayes is in the unique position that it can continue to serve a full breakfast and dinner menu as its Roosters restaurant is still serving a full takeaway and delivery menu.
All guests can enjoy a full room service breakfast and dinner, including the popular Derbyshire full cooked breakfast. All breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and delivered to rooms with minimal contact, where guests can enjoy their meal at their own dining table.
Guests arriving by electric or hybrid vehicles will also receive complimentary access to charging points across the Morley Hayes complex.
Commenting on the decision to keep the Morley Hayes hotel open and their investment in the new sanitisation equipment, managing director Andrew Allsop, said:
“Our aim is to provide the highest levels of service and safety during the current lockdown, accommodating business guests and ensuring their safety with the extensive series of health and safety measures that we have put in place.
“The current lockdown rules state that hotels and other accommodation should only remain open for business guests. As a result, most hotels have closed their doors, but here at Morley Hayes, we have taken the decision to offer a full hotel service to our business guests.
“Although all restaurants are closed in the UK, we are able to offer a full menu for in-room dining and are serving an extensive menu of fresh, home-cooked meals, along with a selection of wines, spirits and beers.
“The introduction of our new microbial spray machine technology will give our guests the confidence that they have the best possible protection against Covid-19,” added Andrew.
The four-star Morley Hayes hotel is set in the heart of the stunning Derbyshire countryside overlooking parkland golf courses.
The 32-room hotel includes executive rooms, family rooms and a range of suites, each with its own private terrace or balcony. Rooms boast a luxury bathroom, satellite TV, wi-fi and high-speed internet access. Hotel guests also receive complimentary use of Morley Hayes’ electric vehicle charging points.
The hotel is within perfect reach of Derby and Nottingham town centres and many provincial towns in the East Midlands.
