Financial services broker, Midlands Asset Finance (MAF), has expanded its agriculture exposure with the appointment of a new relationship director.
Based in Worcestershire, Sue Baker has joined the company to boost its coverage across the country as she looks to specialise in assisting SME clients with the refinancing existing debts or the purchase of new assets.
Previously working in the food, agriculture and construction divisions at finance company, DLL, Sue also spent 12 years as a business development manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland, working across all asset finance sectors.
The donations will be given to the London-based charity – which provides crisis grants to those working in the UK’s care sector – and distributed to care home workers in need across the country.
On joining MAF, Sue said: “I am very excited to be joining such a forward-thinking and expanding company.
“Having spent most of the last decade in the agricultural and construction sectors, I’m looking forward to using my experience to work with both new and existing clients to offer funding solutions for their businesses.”
Director of Agriculture & Renewables, Rachel Borlace, added: “I am delighted to welcome Sue to the team.
“She has a fantastic knowledge of the sector and is widely recognised around the industry, so it’s a huge coup for MAF.
“Her vast experience in agriculture and working closely with dealers, farmers and manufacturers will continue to strengthen our team.”
