Hinckley’s Leicester Road FC is celebrating after securing a sponsorship deal with global brand icon Royal Caribbean International for the Midland Football League 2019/20 season.
The leading cruise operator is proud to have its name and logo on the first teams’ shirts – but earned that right courtesy of a rather unusual ‘shirt draw’ process that saw businesses large and small pay the same bid to take their chances.
Nicki Quintana, Central UK Regional Sales Manager for Royal Caribbean International (who lives locally in Burbage) says: “We’ve enjoyed a great reciprocal relationship with Leicester Road FC since its inception in 2013, but to finally have our name pulled out of the hat for the main corporate shirt sponsorship is the icing on the cake really.
“The sponsorship gives us great exposure on a weekly basis all over the Midlands, plus in and around the second largest football arena in the county.”
LRFC Commercial Director, Paul Moss, adds: “It’s massive to be able to work with an international and household name like Royal Caribbean and is a fantastic brand association for the club.”
