Award-winning digital marketing agency, Hallam, hosted a roundtable this morning for International Women’s Day to honour women in Nottingham who lead successful businesses.
The event celebrated talent and success stories of powerful women in Nottingham who have created outstanding results in their organisations.
The roundtable saw a panel of businesswomen discuss the secrets of their success and what it means to be a leading business woman in today’s society.
Panellists included: Jane Harper – Director of Harper Recruitment, Claire Bale – Director of Marketing at Nottingham Girls High School and Susan Wheatcroft – Managing Director of Virtual Runner UK.
The roundtable was chaired by inspirational therapist, coach, trainer, author, broadcaster and marketer Rosalyn Palmer and covered what skills women can harness to deliver the results that work for them and their organisations.
Rosalyn also focused on the secrets behind a successful business and looked at how to maintain balance and sanity whilst achieving high growth.
Speaking about the event, Rosalyn said, “Hallam’s International Women’s Day event was a great success and I am pleased to have been a part of it. I think it is really important to encourage and lift up other women in business, at whatever level they are, and empower them with the knowledge that they can make a difference on their terms.”
International Women’s Day is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights and aims to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Stuart Ross, MD of Hallam, said: “It’s not only important to recognise the hard work and success of women in business, but to celebrate it too and that is exactly what this event was all about.
“It is important that women in the industry are given a platform to share their experiences so they can support others in their journey.
“Nottingham is full of influential women and we are committed to inspiring future generations to strive for excellence in business.”
