Derby-based video production and animation company Future Proof Films has launched an innovative new remote filming service which enables it to deliver professional quality video despite the current lockdown.
The company, which is based at Connect Derby’s Sadler Bridge Studios, has launched its ‘Pro Remote Video’ service for those businesses that still need professional video content to support their marketing effort.
The idea is simple – the team at Future Proof Films has an initial discussion with the client about their marketing aims, the best way to create an impact online and the execution of the video.
They then send the client the equipment they need for a professional video set-up. They film the content they need, then the equipment and content are collected, and Future Proof Films use their skills and experience to edit and produce professional video content.
One of the benefits of the service is that it promotes the planning and recording of lots of video content at one time. This enables the client to film an entire series of videos in one session, creating a rich and consistent marketing output, which can be released over a series of days, weeks or months.
Commenting on the new service, Drew Taylour-Davis, director of Future Proof Films, said:
“Before social distancing, we were seeing a real hunger for high-quality company vlogs and creative social media videos and this is a great way to help businesses keep that content going while staying distant.”
Director Rob Dawes added:
“Being able to continue to produce professional-looking content that looks and sounds incredible is something a lot of businesses find crucial.
“There is definitely a place for mobile, self-shot footage in video marketing – in fact, we’re currently working with some clients on videos shot entirely on their mobile phones – but for many industries and businesses, high-quality video better suits their image and performs best online.”
Ann Bhatti, head of Connect Derby, said:
“It’s great to see Future Proof Films adapting their services in such an innovative way to meet the challenges being faced by businesses during the current lockdown.
“The Pro Remote Video service is a brilliant way of enabling Drew, Rob and the team continue to deliver professional-quality video in the face of the current social distancing regulations. I’m sure the new service will help lots of business who want to enhance their marketing through video and animation despite the current restrictions.”
Connect Derby is Derby’s primary workspace provider and brings together Derby City Council’s seven workspaces – Sadler Bridge Studios, Friar Gate Studios, Riverside Chambers, Marble Hall, Shot Tower, Kings Chambers and the iHub on Infinity Park to support enterprise and create jobs.
The scheme provides micro businesses, entrepreneurs and SME’s with the high specification working environment, IT infrastructure and business support they need to improve business survival rates and act as a catalyst for expansion and growth. It is also hoped that the project will create further jobs by increasing inward investment to the city.
