With lockdown restrictions now easing, Bloor Homes recently reopened its sales offices and developments to prospective buyers across the South Midlands and has since seen a surge in activity, indicating that buyer confidence remains.
Jack Costello, Bloor Homes’ South Midlands Regional Sales Director, said: “During lockdown our sales teams continued to work with customers who were looking to move. However, since we have reopened our sales offices, we have seen activity return to pre COVID-19 levels at all our South Midlands developments.
“Throughout the lockdown period we saw our sales continue to rise. Since re-opening our sales offices, 94% of our sales have been First Time Buyers. This is demonstrating that there is certainly a confidence in the new homes market.”
During the lockdown period, the sales teams offered virtual viewings and whilst buyers are now able to physically visit the sales offices and showhomes, this new remote method continues to remain popular.
Jack Costello continues, “It was great to see appointments being snapped up when we re-opened, and we are really looking forward to launching our new showhomes at our Southam Grange development next month.
“Buyers who have made the decision to move are keen to progress and with interest rates so low and lenders offering an increasing range of products, now is actually a good time to consider buying a new home. This could also be due to people being confined to their homes during the lockdown period and feeling the need for a change.”
Bloor Homes’ sales offices are now open from Monday – Thursday and the sales teams are offering 1-2-1 appointments with every national guideline safety measure in place to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and staff. Virtual appointments are also still available to book with via bloorhomes.com or telephone.
