The final homes are under construction at a new housing development in Banbury, where just three properties now remain for sale.
Ashberry Homes is putting the finishing touches on the last homes at Cherry Fields as building work draws to an end at the development off Southam Road.
And the housebuilder is expecting the final three homes – a two-bedroom Tuberose house type, and two four-bedroom designs – to be snapped up quickly.
All three houses will be ready to move into before 31 March 2021, when the current stamp duty holiday on homes up to £500,000 comes to an end – meaning their buyers won’t have to pay stamp duty as long as the purchase is completed before this deadline.
Elaine Brown, Head of Sales for Ashberry Homes, said: “Given the rolling countryside surrounding Cherry Fields, the quality homes on offer and its easy access to both the M40 and Banbury town centre, we’re not surprised with how popular Cherry Fields has been with buyers.
“Now, with only three homes remaining for sale, we are coming to the end of work at the development. First-time buyers have found that our two-bedroom homes provide a perfect base to start their journey on the property ladder, while our four-bedroom homes are ideal for growing families in search of more space.
“These last three houses will be ready to move into in the coming weeks, which means that buyers will be able to take advantage of the current stamp duty holiday in place until 31 March next year. Without having to pay stamp duty, they can save thousands of pounds on the cost of moving.
“We can’t promise that these last properties will be on the market for very long, however. I would therefore urge home-hunters to get in touch now and avoid missing out.”
Ashberry Homes is offering its Assisted Move scheme on the remaining properties at Cherry Fields. Under the scheme, the housebuilder supports the buyer to sell their existing property by liaising with local estate agents.
Elaine said: “By using the Assisted Move scheme, we work together with the estate agent to help customers sell their old home, leaving them with more time to prepare for their move to their new Ashberry home.”
The final two-bedroom home at Cherry Fields is priced at £252,000, while the remaining two four-bedroom homes are priced at £317,500 and £445,000 respectively.
