Leading housebuilder David Wilson Homes has unveiled a newly decorated show home at the Brooklands development in Milton Keynes which has been designed with contemporary family living in mind.
The four bedroom Bayswater show home has been beautifully curated by designers from Artspace who used the local area as inspiration.
Show homes are an important part of the buying process and offer potential buyers invaluable interior design inspiration.
Amanda Coleman, Senior Interior Designer at Artspace said: “The show home had to appeal to a diverse market whilst standing out from the crowd. The style we chose for this particular property is contemporary coupled with bold colours to create the warmth of a family home.”
When speaking about the colour scheme Amanda explained: “We went for a pink, white, teal and gold colour scheme. These colours were chosen as they were different to anything else we had used before. The fuchsia pink balances out the teal whilst the white and gold add opulence and class.”
As a contemporary, diverse town, Milton Keynes played an important role in the inception of the design. Amanda said: “The diversity of the local area was a huge influence. The vivid colours were inspired by Asian textiles as they complement the contemporary design elements such as the high gloss used in the kitchen.”
David Wilson Homes has two, three and four bedroom properties available at Brooklands from £241,600. The Bayswater property is available from £440,995.
