A new bus link connecting workers and passengers from Erewash to East Midlands Airport has carried 50,000 people in its first nine months.
trentbarton created the new bus link in March 2018 for the people of Ilkeston, Stapleford and Sandiacre to access the thousands of new jobs being created in and around East Midlands Airport.
The extension to the my15 service has run every hour, seven days a week, connecting the towns’ workers to current and future employment opportunities. It has also proved ideal for local jetsetters flying into or out of the Airport.

East Midlands Airport and the businesses in the East Midlands Enterprise Gateway [EMEG] area already employ 10,000 people, with a potential 20,000 new jobs to be created in the next 20 years.
And it’s not just the route that the customers love, in a recent survey the my15 drivers scored a whopping 99 per cent in customer satisfaction.
